Meltdown is one of the oldest guilds on the Hydraxis server. We were started as primarily a social guild, which then grew into a raiding guild over time. Over the months we have been raiding, we have seen our ups and downs, but the trials have only made us stronger. We are a tight knit group of knowledgeable players who enjoy having fun on raids instead of having a stressful, all-business environment. Currently, we are progressing through the current WotLK content. If you are interested in a friendly raiding environment that emphasizes having fun in the game as opposed to a guild with draconian raiding rules, then this is the guild for you. Even if your class is "Closed" on the recruitment status, we invite you to still fill out an application. We always find a spot for exceptional players, regardless of their class. The person is more important than the toon in Meltdown. Be forewarned however, if your class is currently closed for recruiting, then you will really need to knock us out with your application to be accepted. Being a raiding guild, Meltdown has high standards as far as recruiting. Therefor, you WILL need to have a good knowledge of your class, the mechanics involved in playing it, and your role in a raid. You will need gear that is viable for the current content we are raiding when you apply. Altho we do still farm certain content for badges/gear occasionally, it is not our job to gear you up so that you are able to raid with us. Also, all members of our raiding group are expected to come fully prepared to all raids. You WILL be repaired fully. You WILL cover the costs of your own repairs. You WILL come with stat food for your particular class/spec. You WILL come with your own flasks/elixirs. If you are asked to respec to benefit the raid, then the guild will pay for the respec both ways. Otherwise, if you respec to farm or do dailies, you will be expected to pay for your own respec back to your raiding spec. You will ONLY be allowed to raid in the spec you were recruited for, unless approved by the GM or your class leader.
